Presentation of Blue Flag Awards

The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, Mr. John Gormley, T.D. will tomorrow (3 June 2009) present the Blue Flag Awards at Dollymount Strand.  Blue Flags represent excellence where beaches have achieved excellent water quality and a very high standard across a wide range of other criteria, including environmental education, management of the environment, safety and other services.
